Why is my Bitcoin receive address always different?

    For privacy reasons a Bitcoin address should only be used once. If you re-use an address, anyone with blockchain analysis tools and capabilities can easily see that the recipient of multiple transactions is the same person. 

    You can theoretically re-use a Bitcoin address but we strongly advise against doing so, as it threatens your privacy. 

    Your BitBoxApp will only show you unused Bitcoin addresses by default, and hide the ones you’ve already used. 

    Whenever you want to receive coins just go on the receive page and generate a new address.
